Bioinformatician - Remote contract - 6 months - £360 - outside IR35

Exalto consulting is currently recruiting for a contract bioinformatician for an outside IR35 contract role, 100% remote working paying £300-360 per day depending on experience.

You must have combined experience with novel NGS pipeline development and validation using Python/R using a cloud-based orchestration service in a clinical oncology setting

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of applied experience in bioinformatics data analysis

• Experience in using and analysing Illumina NGS data

• Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and platforms, especially for handling copy number variation and whole genome sequencing data

• Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis and script development

• Experience working with cloud computing platforms, preferably Amazon AWS

• Demonstrated ability to automate data processing and productionize analytical workflows

• Strong analytical skills, particularly in accuracy and reproducibility analysis of biomarkers

• Experience with processing biomarkers from NGS, such as Small Variants, Copy Number Variants and Structural Variants

Illumina as Illumina NGS Data experience is essential.

Desirable is – Illumina Dragen

100% remote working contract role pay £300 – £360 per day. Outside IR35 fully remote.
