Exalto consulting is currently recruiting for a contract bioinformatician for an outside IR35 contract role, 100% remote working paying £300-360 per day depending on experience.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of applied experience in bioinformatics data analysis
  • Experience in using and analysing Illumina NGS data
  • Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and platforms, especially for handling copy number variation and whole genome sequencing data
  • Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis and script development
  • Experience working with cloud computing platforms, preferably Amazon AWS
  • Demonstrated ability to automate data processing and productionize analytical workflows
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in accuracy and reproducibility analysis of biomarkers
  • Experience with processing biomarkers from NGS, such as Small Variants, Copy Number Variants and Structural Variants

Illumina NGS Data experience is essential. Desirable is - Illumina Dragen.
