About the Role

Exalto Consulting are working with a client looking to bring in an experienced AEM Developer to support a customer-facing digital transformation programme. This is a hands-on AEM development role focused on designing, building and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager components, templates and workflows that support high-quality digital customer experiences. You will work closely with technical teams, UX, content and marketing stakeholders to deliver accessible, high-performing and personalised web experiences across customer channels.

The role will suit someone with strong AEM development experience who is comfortable working in a collaborative delivery environment, integrating AEM with backend services and APIs, and applying best practice across content management, web development, SEO, accessibility and performance optimisation.

What you will be doing

  • Designing, developing and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager components, templates and workflows.
  • Supporting the delivery of customer-facing digital experiences as part of a wider customer experience programme.
  • Building and integrating AEM solutions with backend services and APIs.
  • Ensuring content is delivered effectively across web and digital channels.
  • Collaborating with UX, content, marketing and technical teams to deliver engaging and accessible user experiences.
  • Implementing AEM development best practices across component design, templates, workflows and platform configuration.
  • Supporting SEO, accessibility and performance requirements across digital journeys.
  • Troubleshooting AEM issues and supporting continuous improvement of the platform.
  • Optimising website and content performance in line with business and customer needs.
  • Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
