We are recruiting for an experienced Platform Engineer to support and maintain a secure, enterprise-scale infrastructure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer with experience across networking, virtualisation, operating systems and infrastructure security.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support infrastructure platforms, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot incidents and implement preventative solutions.
- Manage patching, vulnerability remediation and security hardening.
- Support infrastructure monitoring, configuration and automation.
- Maintain secure access controls and operational processes.
Essential Skills
- Networking: TCP/IP, DHCP, firewalls and load balancing.
- Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper-V or equivalent.
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows.
- Security: IAM, RBAC, vulnerability management and patching.
- Scripting: PowerShell and/or Bash.
- Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure support experience.
Desirable
- Agile / DevOps experience.
- Infrastructure automation and system administration.
- Experience in secure or regulated environments.
Security Requirements
Active, transferable DV clearance is essential. Applicants must meet the applicable nationality and security clearance requirements for the position.
