Senior User Researcher Location: Yorkshire – Hybrid (2 days per week onsite) Rate: Up to £400 per day (Inside IR35) Duration: 4-5 months (Initial contract) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior User Researcher to support the development and improvement of digital services within a complex delivery environment. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to understand user needs, conduct research and provide insights that influence the design and delivery of accessible, user-centred services.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver user research across digital products and services. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using appropriate methodologies. Analyse findings and communicate actionable recommendations. Collaborate with product, design and delivery teams in an Agile environment. Engage with stakeholders to ensure user needs inform service improvements. Promote effective research practices and support the development of colleagues.
Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience delivering user research for complex digital services. Strong knowledge of user-centred design principles and digital service standards. Experience conducting interviews, usability testing, surveys and other research activities. Ability to translate research findings into practical recommendations. Experience working within multidisciplinary Agile teams. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
Desirable
