Our client is looking to add a Palantir Data Engineer to its ranks following recent successes and an uplift in requirements. Holding current Developed Vetting / DV Clearance is a MUST for this role. This is a 12 month rolling contract, paying up to £700 per day, outside IR35. The role requires 5 days onsite in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team delivering impactful work. Whilst the work is challenging, it is very rewarding. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, DV is required, and all applicants must be sole British Nationals.

About you:

  • Proven experience in building and deploying applications using Palantir Foundry.
  • Strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
  • A highly analytical mindset and eagerness to solve technical problems with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
  • Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals, and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives.

What we require:

  • Communication: Ability to communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. We need someone who can support and host discussions within a multidisciplinary team including senior stakeholders.
  • Data Integration: Connect and harmonise data from multiple sources into Palantir Foundry, ensuring clean, reliable, and compliant data pipelines by utilising Pipeline Builder and Python within Code Repositories.
  • Ontology Development: Design and manage ontologies within Foundry to create logical data structures that enhance accessibility and usability. The ability to understand how data should be structured, including Link Types and Actions, to make the most of Foundry and Workshop applications.
  • Application Development: Build full-stack applications using Foundry tools such as Workshop to deliver intuitive user interfaces and interactive workflows.
  • Work Ethic: We are looking for a self-starter who will seek to match the operational tempo of the users they are supporting.
