Business Analyst – Bristol – Up to £55K

My Bristol based client is looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to sit between the Business and IT Development teams to successfully deliver system improvements and upgrades.

Acting as a conduit between IT and the Business, the Business Analyst will undertake front end requirements gathering and translate back to the Development team. This will involve capturing change requests, validation of business value and collaboration with IT to deliver fit for purpose solutions that align with agreed business need.

Within this role the Business Analyst you will be tasked with the following:

  • Analysis of business requirements.
  • Report concisely and clearly on technical matters to non-technical staff.
  • Effectively translate requirements into IT solution deliverables.
  • Project management of multiple workstreams.
  • Participation in workshops.
  • Provide updates on the status and progress of related IT projects.

Technically, the BA will:

  • Be able to demonstrate commercial experience in a similar role.
  • Be able to demonstrate technical expertise working with complex multi-user cloud and on-premise systems.
  • Possess the ability to create presentations using MS applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Have strong managerial skills coupled with the ability to drive forward agile projects using PRINCE2 methodology or similar.

This role is hybrid and will necessitate an on site presence at least 3 days per week.
