Located in the United Kingdom, the future Regional Sales Manager will be part of a growing worldwide commercial organization of over 75 people. You will develop sales of Exail's product portfolio in defence applications and manage sales actions to meet targets.
Responsibilities:- Manage the company's sales budget in the region.
- Support and develop existing clients through visits, calls, and exhibitions.
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting.
- Prepare tenders and pre-qualification submissions.
- Coordinate targeting of new business areas.
- Prepare quotations and system proposals with support from headquarters and product teams.
- Negotiate commercial conditions.
- Plan and coordinate system demonstrations with technical teams.
- Manage ongoing programs to meet contract and customer objectives.
- Conduct technical sales presentations with support from BDMs and product managers.
- Manage agents and distributors to achieve sales targets.
- Liaise with technical teams and divisions on project requirements.
- Attend conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events.
- Provide regular, accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Maintain customer records and sales data in CRM.
- Develop and manage an effective Sales Action Plan.
- Map customers and projects for complex sales and tenders.
- Contribute to the sales team's knowledge base and communicate with European and global teams.
- Proven track record in a technical sales role.
- 10+ years of sales or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.
- Strong listening, empathy, strategic thinking, enthusiasm, curiosity, and teamwork skills.
