Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Murex Developer with expertise across both Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) modules. This role will deliver technical solutions in Murex, covering configuration, workflow, MxML, and module-specific enhancements, while ensuring end-to-end support for our clients Murex upgrade projects.
What You’ll Do
- Configure and enhance FO modules including pricing, simulation, trade capture, and risk.
- Build and support FO workflows, MxML exchange, and datamart/reporting for P&L and risk.
- Configure and enhance BO modules including settlements, confirmations, accounting, and payments.
- Support BO workflows, downstream MxML integrations, reconciliation, and operational controls.
- Collaborate with trading desks, risk managers, and operations teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide unit testing, technical validation, troubleshooting, and production support for both FO and BO modules.
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience as a Murex Developer with FO and BO expertise.
- Strong knowledge of workflow development, MxML, datamart/reporting, and simulation views.
- Technical proficiency in SQL (Sybase/Oracle), Unix/Linux scripting, XML, and Java.
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycle end-to-end.
- Experience with Murex upgrades, implementations, and large-scale change projects.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Nike to Have
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and scheduling tools (Autosys/Control-M).
- Experience with cloud migration or containerized environments.
