FD - SME in Portsmouth

Growing services sector business (consumer and B2B facing) are keen to interview hands on SME FD's.

I am looking for a local, qualified accountant with a proven loyal background within the SME sector. My client are currently trading in the £9-10m TO range, but planning to double or triple this over the next 5 to 7 years.

The business is based in the North Portsmouth area close to the M27 and my client is looking for a full time office based hire.

Key responsibilities will be:

• Being comfortable with hands on FC work probably c70% of the time.
• Working as an FD on strategy and business optimisation projects c30% of the time.
• Full statutory accounts ownership for the top company and several subsidiaries that are being added to house new ventures.
• Optimising the finance team structure.
• Cost optimisation
• Developing, with the directors, live data dashboards using modern APIs across a suite of sector specific software and Xero as the financial platform.
• Using financial data and business instinct to help this growth journey leverage profit.
