The Opportunity My client who are an independent and friendly firm of accountants are seeking an accounts semi-senior to join the team to assist the accounts and outsourcing team.
This is an important role that will contribute directly to growth in the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of FRS102, 102 1a 105 accounts
- Preparation of corporation tax returns
- Preparation of personal tax returns
- Assisting the accounts team in ad-hoc tasks
- Assisting the outsourcing team during busy periods Essential Experience Skills
- Practice experience, ideally 4+ years
- Ideally studying towards AAT, ACCA or ICAEW or already qualified (Study Support available)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment during busy periods, multi-tasking ability is essential
- Candidates with a very good level of understanding of all aspects of an accounting practice i. e.
VAT, PAYE/NIC, Accounts, Tax, Bookkeeping would stand out as a strong contender for the role Personal Attributes
