The Opportunity
My client who are an independent and friendly firm of accountants are seeking a manager or senior manager level hands on individual to join the accounts and outsourcing team. You will enjoy a mix of management and hands on client engagement yourself within a small team. This is a key role underneath the directors where you can help influence both client acquisition and future firm strategy. It will be ideal for an individual looking to escape the march of the corporate professional firm aggregation which is happening across Hampshire.
This role will ideally be office based but there is some lifestyle flexibility available to make this an enjoyable place to work.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of FRS102, 102 1a & 105 accounts
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Assisting the accounts team in ad-hoc tasks
• Assisting the outsourcing team during busy periods
Essential Experience & Skills
• Practice experience, ideally 4+ years
• IACEW or ACCA qualified or QBE
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment during busy periods, multi-tasking ability is essential

• Self-motivated and proactive
• Strong communication skills
• Commercially minded
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
