Unlike standard "one-trick" firms, our client specialises in a hybrid model: blending high-end domestic/commercial electrical work with advanced renewable energy systems. We are looking for a forward-thinking Electrician who wants to master the future of the trade while working for a company that invests in its people.
As the Electrical Engineer you will be responsible:
- Solar & Battery Integration: Leading the installation and commissioning of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
- EV Infrastructure: Installing smart EV charging solutions and integrating them with domestic power-generation systems.
- Core Electrical Works: Managing full re-wires, consumer unit upgrades, and high-spec lighting installations.
- Compliance & Safety: Performing EICR inspections and ensuring all installations meet BS 7671 (18th Edition) and MCS standards.
- Project Liaison: Providing a professional onsite presence, explaining technical systems to clients, and ensuring a clean, efficient workspace.
As the Electrical Engineer you will have:
- Qualified Status: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Current 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification is essential.
