We are seeking a highly organised and capable School Secretary to support the smooth operation of an Alternative Education Provision. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient administration across multiple sites and supporting staff, students, and operations.
As a School Secretary, you will:
- Manage daily administrative tasks, correspondence, and enquiries
- Maintain accurate records, data entry, and filing systems
- Prepare reports, manage scheduling, and support project management
- Assist with staff onboarding and recruitment administration
- Organise meetings and events, supporting staff, parents, and visitors
- Ensure compliance with policies and safeguarding procedures
As a School Secretary, you will have:
- Proven experience in administration and project support
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in education or alternative provision is advantageous
Hours & Pay:
- 30 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks + 5.6 weeks holiday pay, total 44.6 paid weeks)
- Monday β Friday, 09:00 β 15:30 (30-minute unpaid break)
