Due to impressive business growth and an expanding client base, they are now looking to add a new Internal Account Manager to their tight-knit team. Working in a small, close-knit team, where every voice matters and successes are celebrated together, we are seeking a proactive, high-energy Account Manager who genuinely loves connecting with people. This is not a cold-calling sales role; it is a fast-paced, highly relational position. As the Account Manager you will be:
- Proactively calling clients to follow up on quotes, confirm order details, and provide live updates on their products.
- The primary point of contact for client questions, tracking requests, or issues, resolving them with empathy and urgency.
- Accurately processing and managing an average of 30 client orders per day within the internal database.
- Generating, delivering, and systematically following up on roughly 10 quotes per day to maximise business conversion.
- Working collaboratively within a small team to share workloads during peak times and ensure excellent client coverage.
- Liaising directly with internal transport and warehouse partners to ensure seamless execution.
As the Account Manager you will have:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced customer service, internal sales, or account management role; logistics/freight experience is a plus, but not essential.
- A confident and warm telephone manner; you genuinely enjoy talking to people and building rapport.
- Ability to stay organised and calm while managing a daily workload of 40+ active tasks (orders + quotes).
- A strong work ethic.
