An interesting opportunity has arisen for an organised and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join this growing and prestigious firm to provide support within their close-knit team. The role would allow you to be part of this vital process from start to finish, working with the incoming order, following that trail and ensuring that the right kind of materials are in stock and if not making sure that they are ordered and planned accordingly. Raise weekly production purchase orders

Raise material purchase orders on an ad-hoc basis responding to short term material requirements

Confirm all material purchase orders on system and advise Manager of any queries/delays

Long term scheduling – plan and prepare production schedules in conjunction with the Planning & Purchasing Manager

Cover for the Planning & Purchasing Manager when on holiday, days off and any other absence

Purchasing projects – cost savings exercises

Manage a small group of suppliers and maintain effective working relationships in conjunction with the Planning & Purchasing Manager

Liaise with Goods-In to resolve any delivery/stock queries
