Our Client, a well established and successful business, is going through a very exciting period in their business and are looking for a HR Manager. You'll be the go to HR professional for a diverse workforce spanning production, R&D, distribution, marketing, sales and scientific teams. This is a hands on generalist role with real scope to make your mark.
As the HR Manager you will be responsible for:
- Recruitment & Onboarding — Lead end-to-end hiring across the various departments and roles, delivering a seamless candidate experience and effective onboarding that sets people up for success.
- Employee Relations — Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, handling ER matters across all levels with confidence, fairness, and sound judgment.
- Talent Management & Development — Identify high-potential individuals, assess skill gaps, and implement development plans that support career progression and business growth.
- Process Improvement — Spot opportunities to streamline HR operations, enhance policies, and introduce efficiencies that benefit the wider organisation.
- Strategic Partnership — Work closely with the Head of HR and leadership team to align people initiatives with business objectives, bringing fresh thinking and forward-looking ideas to the table.
As the HR Manager you will have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Proven generalist HR experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or a similarly diverse operational environment
- Strong track record in recruitment, employee relations, and talent development
- A natural relationship-builder who connects well with people at all levels—from the shop floor to the senior leadership team
- Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confident handling of complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving business
