Are you a creative and talented Laboratory Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity? Our dynamic client requires a Laboratory Assistant to support its innovation team in the laboratory. You will be working various Shift Patterns, days and nights.
As the Laboratory Assistant you will:
- Work as part of an operational team to provide samples to the laboratory in a timely manner
- Receive samples and perform integrity checks, completing all documentation
- Dispensing, storage under relevant conditions and disposal of samples
- Log-in samples when required
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-equipped work area
- Observing any operational regulations
- Complete primary sample extraction for the team
- Responsive and willing to perform additional analyses as and when required
- Perform routine maintenance on a range of scientific equipment
- Interpret analytical data
Ideally have a Chemistry degree.
As the Laboratory Assistant you will be:
- Good at time management and able to work within acceptable time frames to meet deadlines
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and willingness to get involved
- Making a positive contribution in daily tasks
- A good communicator – written and verbally
