They are looking for a confident, personable and highly organised Graduate Communications Officer to support their communications, community engagement and events activity.
The Role of Graduate Communications Officer
As Graduate Communications Officer, you will play an important role in supporting day-to-day communications and community activity.
You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and have the opportunity to take ownership of projects as your experience develops.
- Supporting day-to-day communications with members, visitors and external contacts, ensuring interactions are professional, welcoming and engaging.
- Drafting clear and engaging email communications, including newsletters, event invitations and member updates.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of a varied programme of events, from regular community socials to larger conferences.
- Helping to identify and engage industry speakers, coordinating briefings and supporting event logistics.
- Assisting with requests for high-profile tours and conference bookings, helping to ensure an excellent experience for visitors.
- Using CRM systems and platforms such as Eventbrite to manage attendee information and track engagement.
- Supporting post-event reporting and analysis.
- Working closely with Catering, Administration and Marketing teams to ensure events and communications are delivered smoothly.
- Contributing to wider community engagement and communications projects as required.
