About the Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own range planning for specified categories, working closely with factories on production plans and presenting recommendations to the Head of Merchandising.
- Reforecast, manage, buy and cancel product where required.
- Review the WSSI in season and make recommendations to the HoM to maximise trading opportunities.
- Monitor stock levels and flag over/under stock risks.
- Manage end to end critical path for specified ranges, ensuring purchase orders are raised, confirmed, and delivered on time.
- Analyse best and worst sellers weekly, providing insight to support trading decisions.
- Ownership of planning and tracking of promotions, markdown, and clearance activity.
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve delivery or stock queries.
- Work closely with buying, planning, and digital trading teams to ensure a joined-up approach to range and stock management.
- Build and maintain trading trackers and reports in Excel.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong Excel skills (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables essential; SUMIFS/INDEX-MATCH a plus).
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
- Good analytical skills and commercial curiosity — genuinely interested in what sells and why.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines.
- Clear communicator, comfortable liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
