Our major client is seeking an experienced SAP APO/SAP IBP Consultant to take ownership of enterprise supply chain planning solutions and play a key role in a SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud transformation. This is a high-impact role where you'll support the existing SAP APO landscape while leading the design and rollout of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) across the business.

The role entails:

  • Acting as the functional owner for demand, supply and production planning solutions
  • Leading the transition from SAP APO to SAP IBP
  • Designing, configuring and optimising IBP solutions (Demand, Supply & Response, S&OP)
  • Redesigning Legacy planning processes into scalable, standardised, future-ready solutions
  • Working closely with internal departments, IT and external partners
  • Ensuring strong integration between planning solutions and SAP S/4HANA
  • Supporting live planning environments while driving continuous improvement
  • Hands-on experience with CIF, planning master data, and planning area design
  • Working knowledge of SAP BW or Embedded analytics to support planning data and KPIs

You must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 6+ years' hands-on SAP APO experience (DP, SNP or equivalent)
  • Practical experience with SAP IBP (Demand and Supply), ideally in implementation
  • Strong supply chain planning knowledge (forecasting, MRP, BOM planning)
  • Experience integrating with SAP ECC or S/4HANA
  • Confident communicator able to influence business process change
  • Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with strong ownership
  • A background working in complex, multi-plant or multi-site manufacturing environments, ideally FMCG is preferred
