Works Coordinator - Footfall Installation & Support (199jc) – Twyford and Remote - £28k pro rata | 6‑month fixed term contract.
Are you an organised military veteran who thrives on planning, coordination and keeping operations running smoothly?
Ex‑Mil Recruitment is working with an established technology business looking to recruit a Works Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of installation and maintenance projects across the UK.
This role would suit former Armed Forces personnel who have experience coordinating people, equipment, engineering activities or logistics.
Whether your background is in the Royal Engineers, REME, Royal Signals, RAF, Royal Navy, RLC or another operational environment, your ability to organise complex tasks, communicate effectively and keep operations on track will be highly valued.
The Role
Working alongside engineers, customers and suppliers, you'll ensure installation and maintenance activities are planned efficiently and delivered to a high standard.
You'll become the central point of contact, coordinating work schedules, arranging site visits, ordering equipment and ensuring engineers have everything they need to complete each job successfully.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate installation, maintenance and support activities.
- Schedule engineers and subcontractors across multiple customer sites.
- Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and site access.
- Monitor project progress and resolve scheduling issues.
- Order and track equipment, materials and parts.
- Support engineers by ensuring resources are available before work begins.
- Maintain accurate job records and operational documentation.
- Produce operational reports and assist with job completion and invoicing.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout every stage of the project.

What We're Looking For
