We are recruiting for a growing, established Security & Facilities Management provider with a strong portfolio across construction, logistics, hospitality and estate environments. The business is performing well but now needs a commercially driven Head of Sales to take it to the next stage, reporting directly to the Owner/Managing Director. This is not a corporate Director role with layers of hierarchy; it’s a genuine opportunity to take ownership of new business growth and build structure within a scaling organisation within a supportive and positive internal culture.

It will particularly suit:

  • A former military leader now operating in commercial sales (B2B)
  • A Sales Manager ready to step into a Director level position
  • Sales professionals with 6+ years’ experience (10+ years ideal)
  • Candidates from security, FM, construction services or adjacent industries
  • A structured, disciplined relationship-builder who thrives on autonomy
  • Individuals motivated by commission upside and long-term growth opportunity (OTE is uncapped and designed to reward performance)

This is a new business focused position. You will build a new client base, supported by an established brand, marketing support and access to contractor databases. You will be selling services - not products – including for example - manned guarding & physical security, Construction site security solutions, Facilities management integration, Cleaning & manpower solutions, Logistics and waste-linked services. Success comes from credibility, resilience and the ability to educate clients on risk, compliance and operational value. Contracts range from short-term reactive requirements (sometimes 30-day or same-day mobilisations) through to annual renewable agreements. Contract values regularly scale into six figures, with £500k+ opportunities achievable.

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months):

  • Build pipeline through networking and relationship development
  • Secure initial contract wins within 6 months
  • Generate commercial traction and momentum
  • Establish structured sales processes and reporting discipline
  • Position the business for sustainable portfolio growth

The role requires you to be:

  • Target-driven and commercially disciplined
  • Comfortable engaging Quantity Surveyors, Procurement Teams, Facilities Managers and Commercial Directors
  • Comfortable selling intangible services rather than physical products
  • Capable of building senior-level relationships

An existing “black book” within physical security, construction, estates, FM or procurement functions would be hugely advantageous.
