Marine Engineer – Holyhead, North Wales – £33–£35k (DOE) + Overtime + Profit Share
The Role
- Repair, maintenance and installation of marine machinery and onboard systems
- Installation of mechanical equipment during vessel refits and construction
- Working with fuel, hydraulic and fresh water systems
- Fault finding and mechanical diagnostics
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to industry standards
- Working as part of a skilled engineering team
Qualifications
- Time served engineer (military or civilian apprenticeship)
- Strong mechanical engineering background
- Experience with hydraulic and fuel systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High standards of safety and workmanship
- Good team player
