Mission - As a Service Desk Analyst, you’ll be on the front line of network defence and performance — ensuring system uptime, responding rapidly to incidents, and strengthening the backbone of the company’s digital operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse, and maintain network performance and availability.
- Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents — escalating when necessary.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and operational readiness.
- Assist with configuration, patching, and upgrades of network devices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver secure, reliable connectivity.
- Participate in the 24/7 support rota (where applicable).
What You Bring
- 2+ years’ experience in network operations, NOC, or similar technical environments.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and switching.
- Experience using enterprise-level monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Sharp analytical skills and a calm, logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Clear, confident communication — written and verbal.
- Adaptable, proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in dynamic situations.
- Organised and mission-focused with the drive to see every task through.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL.
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Basic scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell).
- Exposure to cybersecurity monitoring.
