We are supporting a major public sector digital transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Product Manager to join a high‑profile technology team delivering critical platform services. This role will focus on ownership and progression of established product roadmaps across cloud and data platform capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior product leadership and multidisciplinary delivery teams to ensure priorities remain aligned to strategic objectives and delivery momentum is maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Own, maintain and drive forward established product roadmaps across AWS and data platform services
- Collaborate with senior product leadership to shape and evolve product vision and strategic direction
- Prioritise product backlogs based on value, effort and alignment to organisational goals
- Communicate product priorities, trade‑offs and rationale clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Engage with users and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs and inform decision‑making
- Influence priorities across multiple teams by advocating for platform outcomes and business value
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and support effective cross‑functional collaboration to ensure a well‑refined backlog
Essential experience
- Proven experience working as a Product Manager within a government or public sector environment
- Strong experience applying product management principles, frameworks and methods to technical or platform‑based products
- Experience owning and maintaining product roadmaps, ensuring delivery remains on track against agreed objectives
- Ability to explain complex technical product issues clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder engagement, prioritisation and collaborative delivery skills
This is a hybrid role and regular onsite attendance will be required. Due to programme requirements, candidates must be able to commute to one of the listed locations. Early applications encouraged due to CV submission deadlines.
