Our client is seeking a Planner to support the successful delivery of complex engineering and construction projects across a range of sectors, including data centres, advanced manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial developments. Working as part of a project delivery team, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programmes, ensuring that project milestones, procurement activities, and construction schedules remain aligned with delivery objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Assist in the development and maintenance of baseline project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Support the preparation of tender and pre-construction programmes.
- Develop and maintain look-ahead programmes and construction schedules.
- Monitor progress against programme milestones and identify potential delays.
- Assist in the development of mitigation and recovery programmes where required.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track site progress and update project schedules on a regular basis.
- Collect and analyse information from project teams to support schedule updates.
- Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for project stakeholders.
- Monitor design and procurement activities to ensure alignment with project schedules.
- Support the preparation of performance reports, KPIs, and programme updates.
- Project Coordination
- Liaise with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to obtain programme information.
- Support resource planning and workload management activities.
- Assist with risk identification and contingency planning.
- Work closely with senior planning and project management teams to support successful project delivery.

- Experience producing reports, KPIs, and performance updates.
- Experience working within fast-paced operational, engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or scheduling systems would be advantageous.
