We are seeking an experienced and reliable General Labourer to support civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with groundworks, drainage systems, and structural preparations. You’ll work closely with site teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works to specification.
Our client specialises in delivering large-scale technical infrastructure projects, particularly in highly secure and regulated environments (predominantly MOD Sites). Their services include the design, installation, and commissioning of advanced communications networks and secure fibre network systems, radar and radio navigation technologies, and a wide range of IT and communications infrastructure, adhering to government and military standards. They provide end-to-end project management, including cost control, compliance, and high-quality execution tailored to complex client needs.
Please note: This role requires working away from home, often for extended periods (stays of several weeks or months depending on project location and schedule).

Key Responsibilities
- Installation of drainage systems
- Laying kerbs and slabs
- Concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing
- Shuttering and formwork
- Tying and placing reinforcement (rebar)
- Preparing and setting foundations
- Setting site levels using lasers or dumpy levels
- Operating site dumper (valid ticket required)
- Operating access platforms (IPAF certified)
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in similar civils/groundworks roles
- Valid Dumper ticket
- IPAF qualification
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour in various conditions
- Team player with good communication skills
Desirable
- CSCS Card
- Driving licence
