Our client is looking for 2 x Front of House Traffic and Security Officers to join their team. Located on the banks of the River Thames, Grosvenor Waterside is an exceptional riverside estate centred around its historic dock.

Purpose of the Role

To maintain the safety and security of residents, staff, and property across the estate, while managing on site traffic and delivering a professional and welcoming first impression.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain excellent presentation standards and deliver high quality customer service across the development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents and visitors, providing a professional and approachable presence.
  • Demonstrate self motivation, accountability, and initiative in all duties.
  • Carry out site inspections, patrols, and CCTV monitoring as required.
  • Maintain and contribute to the ongoing development of the traffic management plan.
  • Promote a positive and proactive team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance service delivery and team effectiveness.
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding and following all Health and Safety policies, identifying and reporting hazards to improve safety standards.

Role Specific Responsibilities

Security

  • Carry out all security duties as directed by management to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor external areas and, where required, internal areas including car parks, walkways, and gardens for security and Health and Safety issues.
  • Complete required Health and Safety inspections and related tasks.
  • Enforce security procedures and control access to the development at all times.
  • Supervise and accurately record key usage within the security office.
  • Provide cover for Concierge duties when required, including secure key handling, parcel and delivery management, and use of the Locale online system.
  • Monitor and respond to CCTV activity and priority areas.
  • Act as a point of contact for resident and visitor enquiries, issues, and complaints.

Traffic Management

  • Monitor and manage vehicles entering the estate, redirecting where necessary in line with the Traffic Management Plan.
  • Enforce parking restrictions and issue PCN tickets for unauthorised or illegal parking across the development.
  • Verify resident details to ensure authorised vehicle access.
  • Communicate effectively with the Front of House team to coordinate traffic flow and visitor access.
  • Implement and adhere to all traffic management procedures to ensure safe and efficient movement on site.

Note: Candidates who have completed a Traffic Management course are desirable, but they will provide training if required.

Health and Safety

  • Assist with the administration and recording of all incidents and accidents.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Estate Management team to deliver effective Health and Safety management and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Fully understand and adhere to Emergency Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and policies relating to fire safety, hygiene, and Health and Safety.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

  • Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
  • Accredited Traffic Marshal qualification.
  • Previous experience within the security industry and high end customer service environments.
  • Experience in outdoor roles and front facing customer positions.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and requirements.
  • Understanding of anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation.
  • Calm, professional, and patient approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training as required.

Pay

Salary is £30 to £35k (DOE), and overtime (at x1.25) regularly available. Note: A uniform is provided, along with waterproofs (and umbrellas). Tablet & mobile will be provided.
