Principal Support & Logistics Coordinator vacancy in London- Mayfair & Kensington (276DM)

We are seeking a highly capable, hands‑on and dependable Principal Support & Logistics Coordinator to support a private Principal across the practical and operational aspects of day‑to‑day life.

This is a varied, trusted position for someone who takes genuine pride in doing things properly.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, punctual, discreet and comfortable taking ownership of tasks without requiring constant direction.

The environment is high‑standard, low‑friction and decentralised.

Reliability, judgement and execution are valued above hierarchy or job titles.

You will be expected to notice what needs doing, take responsibility and ensure it is completed properly.

The role would particularly suit someone from a military background, especially candidates with experience in operational support, logistics, driving, orderly duties, mess standards or similar environments where attention to detail and consistently high standards are expected.

Candidates from private household, executive driving, family office, yachting or other high‑service environments will also be considered.

The Role

You will support the Principal with a variety of practical, logistical and day‑to‑day requirements, both in the UK and internationally.

  • Safe, professional and discreet driving.
  • Managing journeys and movements with excellent punctuality and forward planning.
  • Carrying out errands and practical tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Supporting travel and associated logistics.
  • Coordinating with suppliers, contractors and members of the wider team.
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation across vehicles, equipment and working environments.
  • Troubleshooting practical issues and finding sensible solutions.
  • Maintaining simple records, checklists, logs and supplier information.
  • Anticipating requirements and resolving issues before they become problems.
  • Supporting other members of the team whenever required.

This is a genuinely hands‑on role and requires a “no job too small” mentality.

What Success Looks Like

You will be successful in this position if

  • The Principal's movements and practical requirements are handled safely, punctually and discreetly.
  • You become known as someone who can simply be trusted to get things done.
  • Tasks are completed properly and followed through without repeated supervision.
  • You remain calm and professional when plans change or pressure increases.
  • Your personal conduct and presentation remain consistently high.
  • You identify problems early and take ownership of resolving them.

Essential Requirements

Candidates must have

  • A clean UK driving licence.
  • Strong and confident driving ability.
  • Confidence driving in London and willingness to drive internationally.
  • A UK or EU passport.
  • The ability and willingness to travel internationally for up to two consecutive weeks per month.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours.
  • A genuine enjoyment of working around dogs and children.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Good basic numeracy.
  • Excellent punctuality and personal organisation.
  • High levels of integrity and discretion.
  • Must genuinely enjoy being around dogs and be comfortable taking responsibility for regular dog walking.

Skills & Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who demonstrates

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • High personal and professional standards.
  • An inspection‑ready approach to presentation.
  • Strong practical and hands‑on ability.
  • Natural problem‑solving instincts.
  • Excellent time management.
  • The ability to prioritise and adapt quickly when schedules change.
  • Strong follow‑through and accountability.
  • Confidence working independently.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team.
  • Professional and polite communication.
  • Sound judgement regarding when to act independently and when to raise.
  • Pride in delivering excellent service, particularly when nobody is watching.
  • Preferred Background

Military experience would be highly regarded, particularly within

  • Operational support.
  • Logistics.
  • Transport or driving.
  • Orderly or mess duties.
  • Royal Marines, Army, RAF or Royal Navy support functions.
  • Relevant experience within UHNW private households, family offices, executive driving, private operations, yachting or similar high‑standard service environments would also be advantageous.

Formal qualifications are welcome but are not the primary consideration. Character, judgement, professionalism and execution are significantly more important.

Additional training, including advanced driving or powerboat qualifications, can be provided where appropriate.

The Opportunity

This is intended to become a trusted, long‑term position within the Principal's wider network.

For the right individual, there will be scope to take on increased responsibility over time.

The position will suit someone who enjoys being useful, solving problems, travelling internationally and operating in an environment where high standards are expected every day.
