Our client is seeking a Planner to support the successful delivery of complex engineering and construction projects across a range of sectors, including data centres, advanced manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and industrial developments.

Working as part of a project delivery team, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programmes, ensuring that project milestones, procurement activities, and construction schedules remain aligned with delivery objectives. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Scheduling
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of baseline project schedules using Primavera P6.
    • Support the preparation of tender and pre‑construction programmes.
    • Develop and maintain look‑ahead programmes and construction schedules.
    • Monitor progress against programme milestones and identify potential delays.
    • Assist in the development of mitigation and recovery programmes where required.
  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting
    • Track site progress and update project schedules on a regular basis.
    • Collect and analyse information from project teams to support schedule updates.
    • Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for project stakeholders.
    • Monitor design and procurement activities to ensure alignment with project schedules.
    • Support the preparation of performance reports, KPIs, and programme updates.
  • Project Coordination
    • Liaise with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to obtain programme information.
    • Support resource planning and workload management activities.
    • Assist with risk identification and contingency planning.
    • Work closely with senior planning and project management teams to support successful project delivery.

  • Experience producing reports, KPIs, and performance updates.
  • Experience working within fast‑paced operational, engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP, or scheduling systems would be advantageous.
