Weighing Technician (Mechatronics / Electrical Background) (214jc) – Fife Based - £30k to start while under training This is a Field-based role covering the whole of the UK, but ideally you will be based in Auchtermuchty for training and on-going development. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY. They are looking for a practical problem-solver with electrical, electronic, or mechanical experience to join our team as a Weighing Technician. No prior experience in the weighing industry is needed — They will provide full training and support. What matters is your discipline, ability to work independently, and confidence working with equipment, tools, and technical systems. What You’ll Do * Install, service, and repair industrial weighing systems and related control equipment, this could range from simple industrial weighing machines to vehicle weighing equipment. * Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. * Diagnose and fix issues with electrical, electronic, and mechatronic components. * Integrate weighing equipment with wider automation and process control systems. * Carry out planned maintenance, upgrades, and system improvements. * Support customers on-site and remotely, acting as the trusted technical expert. * Travel across the UK (sometimes staying away from home for short periods).
