Our client has over 30 yearsβ experience specialising in entrance control solutions to the UK Security Industry and now Internationally. They supply and install a wide range of quality and innovative products that help ensure premises are safe and secure, from anti-tailgating products such as security portals and turnstiles to their sensor-based systems.
They deliver quality security systems to high demanding sectors, including critical national infrastructure such as airports, data centres and central government along with corporate clients and leisure.
Due to the volume of products in the location in London, there is a requirement to have a technician on-site, to ensure the products are always available to the Client. Reporting directly to the Head of Technical Services, you will be a fundamental part of their technical team, demonstrating a strong electro-mechanical aptitude with excellent verbal communication skills. This position is Monday to Friday, on-site in London, from 08.30 to 17.00.
As a Service Technician (On-site) you will be embedded on one client site to provide the company with technical support for service/fault and warranty support. You will conduct preventative maintenance, warranty and fault rectification on one client site as well as oversee and report on site critical spare levels ensuring that all stock used is booked out on worksheets/stock sheets.
Job Expectations
- You will conduct the scheduled planned maintenance routines when not responding to call outs, maintaining the products to the highest standard, minimising any downtime.
- You will be a personable individual, discrete and able to demonstrate a strong electromechanical aptitude with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Service support for occasional out of hours visits over weekends and bank holidays.
- In addition to these functions, you will be required to carry out any other such duties as may be reasonably required.
- Due to the nature of the site, you will initially be required to obtain SC clearance eventually progressing this to DV clearances.
