Sales & Technical Support (042lw) – Landscaping/Irrigation – Home Based – £38,000.00 – £45,000.00 + benefits\\n\\nOur client, a specialist distributor of maintenance equipment & irrigation systems is seeking a new Sales & Technical support person. A home-based role & will involve regular travel, covering a customer territory from Birmingham to the South Coast of UK, promoting & selling their irrigation products and complete system sales (ideally, candidates will live in the middle of the country).\\n\\nDUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.\\n\\nThe role would also include relationship building with the current installers/dealer network and Irrigation Consultants. Training on company’s products will be provided (& potential sales training for the right candidate)\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nLeading negotiations of project sales through to awarding of the contract for Irrigation products throughout the territory.\\n\\nQuoting small irrigation project opportunities in conjunction with the Division manager.\\n\\nResponding promptly to product/system enquiries within the territory leading to sales opportunities.\\n\\nResponding to all customer queries promptly.\\n\\nWorking with existing customer base and focus on after sales opportunities.\\n\\nDevelop relationships with specifiers & designers to increase awareness of products and their application.\\n\\nLiaison with the sales office to ensure customer expectations and order requirements are fully realised.\\n\\nDeliver/present product training to end‐users, contractors, designers and colleagues as required.\\n\\nParticipate in all product and personal development training, as required.\\n\\nProvide technical product support or response, where required.\\n\\nProvide technical support/installation monitoring to all irrigation projects being installed within the territory.\\n\\nCreate detailed technical reports covering all irrigation project visits.\\n\\nPopulate the current CRM tool with sales opportunities.\\n\\nProvide a monthly call report of all activity within the territory.\\n\\nMaintain a professional appearance, appropriate to engaging across the broad range of customer contacts and their organisational roles and positions.\\n\\nExperience required\\n\\nA sound understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles would be an advantage.\\n\\nPrevious knowledge/experience or sales experience within the Turf industry selling irrigation/aeration products would be an advantage.\\n\\nGood administrative, organizational, analytical and problem‐solving skills.\\n\\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\\n\\nThe ability to multitask, work in a fast‐paced environment, and meet deadlines\\n\\nComputer literacy.
