This isn’t a typical sales role. It’s about advising engineers, building relationships, and delivering the right solutions. You’ll join a growing, award-winning technical consultancy supplying specialist tooling and equipment to some of the world’s most advanced engineering organisations across aerospace, defence, automotive, motorsport, and renewable energy.
You’ll take ownership of a well-established territory, working with existing customers and warm leads, helping them select the right tooling solutions for their applications. For those with no previous B2B sales experience, full training can be provided.
Why This Role Works for Ex-Military Candidates:- Your experience with equipment, maintenance, or engineering systems directly translates.
- You’ll be trusted to manage your own area—no micromanagement.
- Strong emphasis on integrity, accountability, and doing things properly.
- Opportunity to move from hands-on roles into a commercial, higher-earning career path.
- Work with industries aligned to your background (defence, aerospace, engineering).
- Managing and growing a portfolio of existing accounts (majority warm relationships).
- Visiting customer sites to understand requirements and recommend solutions.
- Advising on tooling based on application, performance, and value.
- Building long-term relationships with engineers, buyers, and technical teams.
- Developing new business opportunities within your region.
- Working closely with an internal sales team for quoting and support.
- REME, Royal Engineers, RAF or Navy engineering trades.
- Equipment maintenance, tooling, or mechanical/electrical roles.
- Defence, aerospace, or high-compliance environments.

If you’ve worked with tools, equipment, or engineering systems in the military, there’s a strong chance your skills are transferable. We’re happy to talk it through.
