We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Production & R&D Technicians to support the design, development, and manufacture of advanced composite components. This role involves working with cutting-edge composite materials across both production and research environments.
Technicians will work directly with composite materials, including resins and fibres, playing a key role in the creation of high-performance components. Our client operates across the automotive, aerospace, and defence sectors, delivering high-performance composite solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacture components using composite materials (e.g. carbon fibre)
- Work with resins and fibre materials during lay-up and production processes
- Support R&D activities including prototyping and testing
- Prepare materials, moulds, and tooling for production
- Operate manufacturing equipment and follow technical processes
- Inspect, trim, and finish composite parts to quality standards
- Work collaboratively with engineers and production teams
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with composite materials (e.g. carbon fibre, fibreglass)
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work (no cutting corners)
- Understanding of composite manufacturing processes (lay-up, curing, moulding, etc.)
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a technical environment
Entry-Level Candidates:
- No prior composite experience required
