Mechanical Fitters (300jc) – Central Scottish Belt – £17 – 19 per hour + Benefits Our client specialises in installing all types of mechanical plants for the Water industry across the UK. They offer services including water & wastewater treatment, including design, fabrication, site installation and testing. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY. On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Mechanical Fitter, who will work as part of a team of engineers and will be responsible for delivering quality and service in a safe and efficient manner. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-2pm based in Kilmaurs. Package: * Workwear provided. * Life Assurance & Health Care Benefits * Up to 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Progression opportunities which include ongoing training and development. * Hourly rate of £17 – £19 per hour (DOE) * Overtime paid at 1.5 x hourly rate Therefore, your key responsibilities: * Installation of Mechanical Plant and Equipment * Maintenance and Fault Finding in Mechanical Plant and Equipment * Steelwork Erection and Dismantling * Installation of Pipework and Valves * Ensure that Company standards are maintained at the highest levels. * To report any unsafe acts, near misses or relevant H&S matters and ensure that these are promptly followed up and closed out. * To follow appropriate safety procedures during the execution of the work, which will include the review of method statements and Safe Systems of Work. * Deliver Company Values, led by example and help others.
