Our client, an established engineering business with over 30 years' experience, is expanding its team and seeking candidates with a solid mechanical or engineering background. Comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided, making previous lift industry experience unnecessary.
The Opportunity
You will initially undertake approximately six months of structured training and development, gaining the technical knowledge and practical experience required to work safely and effectively within the industry. After your initial training, you will have the opportunity to specialise in areas such as:
- Lift Technician
- Repair Engineer
- Service Engineer
- Installation Engineer
Once trained and competent, you will take responsibility for your own geographical area, providing considerable independence and ownership of your workload. This position offers a pathway to build a long-term engineering career with genuine scope for progression into more senior roles.

- A strong mechanical or engineering background
- Electrical knowledge or experience (advantageous but not essential)

Location
The company is recruiting across a wide geographical area and is interested in candidates based in or around: London, Home Counties, Kent, Essex. Your location will help determine the geographical area you ultimately cover once trained.
Salary & Benefits
The package includes:
- £30,000–£35,000 starting salary
- Salary increasing to circa £40,000 following successful completion of training
- Annual performance bonus of up to 10%
