Are you an experienced cyber, information assurance or security professional looking to apply your expertise to some of the UK's most complex Defence and National Security challenges? A rapidly growing Defence technology consultancy is seeking a Senior Cyber & Information Assurance Consultant to support the delivery of secure, data-enabled capabilities across Defence, Government and National Security programmes.
This opportunity will appeal to experienced Service Leavers, Veterans and Defence professionals who enjoy solving complex problems, influencing senior stakeholders and helping customers operate securely in challenging environments. Working across secure and highly regulated environments, you will help customers develop and assure capabilities that enable trusted information exchange, cyber resilience and secure data sharing. You will operate across strategy, governance and delivery, advising senior decision-makers while remaining close to operational outcomes and technical implementation. Candidates may currently work within Defence, Government, National Security organisations, Defence Primes, specialist consultancies, or be transitioning from military service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cyber and information assurance activities across Defence and National Security programmes.
- Develop and implement Secure by Design approaches.
- Support capability development, demonstrations, trials and operational activities.
- Advise senior stakeholders on cyber risk, resilience and security governance.
- Contribute to secure data exchange and interoperability initiatives.
- Support delivery of secure digital transformation programmes.
- Translate complex technical risks into practical business recommendations.
