Our client, who deliver a comprehensive selection of products and practical solutions in the landscaping, ground maintenance, fleet management, agriculture and farming, across the UK and Ireland, are looking for a Driver.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

The candidate needs to have HGV2 or Grandfather rights and CPC needs to be up to date.

Job Purpose

To provide efficient and safe transport of products across the country in a professional and efficient manner. Able to travel for prolonged periods of time where overnight stays away from home will be necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Move machinery as required to support operational requirements.
  • Working closely with the Transport Manager to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Responsible for daily vehicle checks and notification of any faults.
  • Wash down equipment and prepare machinery for demonstrations and tournaments.
  • Assist in general yard duties whilst on site, as per the requirements of the Branch Manager.
  • Keep Licence and CPC up to date.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers by treating people with dignity and respect.
  • Take pride in your appearance and always be presentable to customers.
  • To be responsible for the Health & Safety issues within your areas of control in accordance with Company Health & Safety policies.
  • Attend any relevant training sessions to ensure you are fully equipped to perform your duties effectively.
  • To be flexible and assist your colleagues where necessary.
  • Be prepared for overnight stays away from home when necessary.
  • Be able to work alone and achieve the desired results on time and up to the standard required.
  • Assist in all other areas of the company as operational requirements demand.
