Health & Safety Manager (192jc) – London and Cambridgeshire – up to £65k + Benefits Are you a military veteran with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to looking after your team? Your skills could be the perfect fit for my client’s Health & Safety Manager role within the fit-out sector. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY. They are looking for someone with proven leadership and risk management experience who can champion safety across multiple high-profile construction projects. You’ll be the trusted advisor ensuring standards are not only met but exceeded — keeping people safe and projects moving. What You’ll Be Doing: * Leading site inspections and audits, making sure safety always comes first. * Reviewing and improving risk assessments and method statements. * Investigating incidents and implementing corrective measures. * Coaching project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to build a strong safety culture. * Supporting training delivery, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. * Helping maintain industry-leading accreditations (ISO45001, RoSPA, etc.). What they are looking for: * NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety (or equivalent). Essential * Tech IOSH membership (or working towards). Essential * SMSTS qualification. * First Aid at Work certificate. * A full UK driving licence. * Previous construction or engineering leadership experience — military background highly valued.
