Are you a skilled electrical professional with a passion for renewable energy and leading on-site teams? If so, my client, a rapidly growing company at the forefront of utility-scale power generation projects, is seeking additional Supervisors to be part of their teams.

This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for experienced electricians looking to step into leadership while delivering high-quality, compliant installations in the renewable energy sector.

What You’ll Do:
  • Supervise on-site electrical installations for power generation systems (solar, battery, LV systems).
  • Lead a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring work is safe, efficient, and compliant.
  • Carry out system testing, inspections, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients, reporting progress and identifying technical challenges.
  • Mentor junior team members and uphold the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure material readiness in line with project timelines.
What they are looking for:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical work, preferably on utility-scale or renewable energy projects.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, ECS Gold Card, 18th Edition, Inspection & Testing (BS2391/2392).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, diagrams, and renewable energy systems.
  • Proven leadership ability and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week.
  • Proficiency in digital site reporting tools (e.g., iAuditor, Microsoft Office).
  • Own transport required – reimbursed at 25p/mile.

As my client has operations across the length and breadth of the UK, you must be prepared to stay away from home Mon – Fri and would ideally live centrally in the UK, but all applications will be considered within reason.

In return, they are offering up to £26 per hour self-employed under CIS scheme, with an average 50 hr week. All travel and accommodation will be paid by the company, and for the right individuals, ongoing personal development and progression will be encouraged.
