My client is looking for a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician to join a growing aviation maintenance team. This role is ideal for UK military veterans who have experience in engineering, technical maintenance, or aircraft systems, and who value precision, teamwork, and discipline. Only individuals who are ex-military are represented in this recruitment.
What You’ll Do
- Work as part of a maintenance team to ensure safe, compliant servicing of various aircraft
- Support senior engineers with arrival inspections, storage maintenance, and pre-part-out checks
- Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs) and Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPCs) – with full training provided
- Receive training in Part 145 procedures, human factors, EWIS, and other relevant regulations
- Assist in protective engine wrapping and tooling inventory checks
- Identify and report non-conformities, damage risks, and safety hazards promptly
- Work with tools and equipment, maintaining them in good working condition
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
- Work within a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring all duties follow established guidelines
- Be prepared to train for towing aircraft and operating equipment in an airfield environment
- Work toward attaining a Part 66 A Licence, with expectations to progress toward a B Licence
