Our client, who delivers a comprehensive selection of products and practical solutions in the landscaping, ground maintenance, fleet management, agriculture and farming across the UK and Ireland, is looking for an Assembly Technician (well suited to a mechanical/electrical background).

The Assembly Technician role supports the assembly and maintenance of a wide range of ground care machinery, ensuring operational efficiency in production and delivering exceptional service to customers. You will collaborate closely with the workshop team to meet quality standards, deadlines, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, set up, and maintain irrigation systems, and other machinery in the Ground care workshop.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on various equipment.
  • Perform adjustments and component fittings according to technical standards and instructions.
  • Wash down equipment and prepare machinery for demonstrations, tournaments, and customer use.
  • Ensure all health and safety, risk assessments, and equipment protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, contributing to good housekeeping practices.
  • Assist in improving processes and methods to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Participate in training sessions to develop technical expertise.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by assisting team members and working additional hours when necessary.
