The Senior Project Manager will lead projects from post-sale through to post-event reporting, acting as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and ensuring effective use of Dataflow’s software and services. The role does not carry senior leadership team (SLT) representation, but is accountable for project and account leadership, with scope to mentor colleagues within JET’s project management team and share knowledge of Dataflow products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of delegate management and ticketing services for assigned events and accounts.
  • Own the client relationship for assigned accounts, acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact and providing expert advice on best practice in delegate and data management.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Dataflow, JET, and client organisations at project and operational level.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks, escalating where appropriate to ensure delivery on time, in scope, and to client expectations.
  • Coordinate with professional services, development, sales, support, and finance teams to deliver against project commitments.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, data security, and industry best practice across all assigned projects and accounts.

Knowledge Sharing & Mentoring

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Dataflow delegate management and ticketing solutions on assigned projects.
  • Provide informal training, guidance, and mentorship to JET project managers, enabling them to support and deliver Dataflow products effectively.
  • Contribute to shared knowledge and best practice within the wider project management and professional services team.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive operational quality on assigned projects and accounts, identifying and implementing improvements to ways of working.
  • Gather and act on client feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Support reporting, forecasting, and revenue recognition activities for assigned accounts as required.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings relevant to the products and clients in scope.

Internal Liaison

  • Work with R&D teams to feed back client requirements and product issues, helping to inform roadmap discussions.
  • Support Sales with pre-sales discussions where project or account expertise is needed, ensuring Dataflow solutions are scoped accurately.
  • Provide input to Marketing on case studies and customer stories drawn from delivered projects.
  • Provide accurate operational and project data for JET reporting as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a project manager within delegate management, ticketing, or event technology, with a track record of leading projects and owning client accounts.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Skilled in project management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of data management, GDPR compliance, reporting tools, and event technology (e.g., registration systems, badge printing, NFC/RFID, lead retrieval).
  • Commercial awareness, including an understanding of project margin and revenue recognition, is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a calm and proactive approach under pressure.
  • Comfortable in a hybrid role (office, home, onsite), with flexibility for occasional travel and weekend work.

Personal Characteristics

  • Results-focused and detail-oriented, with a drive to deliver exceptional client service.
  • A team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to influence at project and account level.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously while leading their own portfolio.
