Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and machinery
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify faults and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle issues and repair options
- Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are maintained
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a workshop environment
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
