We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and ambitious Garage Manager / Senior Mechanic to take the lead in relaunching and growing our busy workshop in Blackburn.
Due to recent changes within the business, the workshop has been closed for a short period and we are now looking for the right person to take ownership of its day to day operation, rebuild momentum, and help drive the business forward.
This is not just another mechanic's role.
We are looking for someone who can roll their sleeves up, lead from the front, and take pride in running a successful workshop.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running and organization of the workshop.
- Manage bookings, workflow, and job allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Complete MOT preparation and associated repairs.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Manage parts ordering, stock control, and workshop equipment.
- Ensure the workshop remains safe, clean, and compliant.
- Help develop and grow the business through excellent service and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a qualified vehicle mechanic or technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Previous workshop management or supervisory experience would be advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
