Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Van Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our expanding team.

This role offers a mix of driving responsibilities and warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their daily tasks.

The role will involve close communication with the sales team, stock control and regular contact with customers.

  • Key Activities
  • Loading and unloading of freight vehicles
  • Receiving goods on system & placing them into stock in a timely manner
  • Picking and packing of orders
  • Preparing orders for dispatch, including building pallets.
  • Providing relief to Van Drivers as and when necessary
  • Provide Assistance to Counter Sales Staff when necessary
  • Stocktaking and regular cycle counting
  • Housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Ensuring the Warehouse is complaint with H&S standards

Skills And Experience Required

  • A Full Clean B Drivers Licence (Essential)
  • Experience in a similar role an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
