An opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer to join us based at our customer facility within Rolls Royce, Bristol

What you will be doing:

As an Applications Engineer your key accountabilities will include:

· Working closely with both cutting tool and Abrasives manufacturers and our customer to Optimise machining production processes

· Analyse high spend / low efficiency processes and identify enhancements.

· Utilise our specialist processes to maintain process performance data.

Who we\’re looking for:

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

Essential Skills:

  • CNC machining experience in a manufacturing background
  • HNC/HND
  • A good solid knowledge of cutting tools and production machining processes.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with a pro-active attitude
  • Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Excel/ Outlook/ Word

Advantageous Skills:

  • Enhanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous experience in a customer facing tooling role
  • Production engineering
