Responsibilities include:
- Fabricate and weld products to design drawings
- Use of a range of hand tools to finish job
- General housekeeping of work area
- Daily duties within the workshop to ensure health and safety standards are met
Full training will be given. Experience in the below is essential:
- MIG welding
- Use of a range of hand tools (grinder, drill etc.)
- Reading and working from Engineer's drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
The right candidate must be able to meet deadlines and have a good work ethic, as well as good timekeeping and willingness to do overtime if asked.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 12 noon. Overtime available, paid at time and a half basic hourly rate. 34 days holiday pro rata.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.56 per hour
